~~~ Patrick and Michael Hired a Bicycle ~~~

Patrick and Michael hired a bicycle
To go for a ride one day
With Pat on front and Mick on the back
They happily rode away.

They cycled along singing a song
Over hills down dales they went
But got a great shock when they hit a big rock
And the front of their bicycle bent.

Up in the air, flew that cycling pair,
And they came down to earth with a thump.
And to their surprise they do not know why,
They failed to see that big bump.

Pat said to Mick, "Doesn't, it make you sick,
That this road is a rough as could be".
Then, Mick said to Pat, "I did think of that,
But, it's better than hitting a tree".

"I supose that your right", poor Pat shook with fright,
"I've taken the skin off me knee.
And I've blackened me eye, when I flew through the sky
And I hit that bloody great tree".
