~~~ I Saw a Ripple in a Brook ~~~
I saw a ripple in a brook that made me look.
A tiny face, a fairy face
Broke the surface of that pond
Through lily pad and leafy fond,
It smiled and winked and made me think
Of all my fantasies.
Then as I neared it disappeared
From whence it first came from.
~~~ Dancing on Four Winds ~~~

The four winds whistle through the trees
On their journeys round and round,
Just blowing where they want to please,
To lift the leaves from off the ground,
Some gusts so strong to brake and bend
The thickest trunk or branch,
Or gusts so light to gently start-
a dandelions dance.
Those dandelions catch the breeze
And float and flitter through,
The branches of the waving trees
Just like the fairies do,
Fairie folk are on the wind
Like, the elves and little people
All clothes in stripes and sequined,
They dance, on a windy steeple.
That steeple's made by all winds four
That makes my dreams come true,
So if, those four winds knock upon my door,
I'll dance, just like the fairies do.

~~~ Fairy Rings ~~~
The dust floats gently on the breeze-
Drifting softly through the trees,
To settle on the ground.
It sparkles brightly in the light-
Cast by the moon upon this night,
Spreading magic all around.
The wind it shifts then gives a sigh-
To see the flittering fire flies,
Appear without a sound.
Four tiny elves with mushroom ring-
Dance in pairs and start to sing,
With happiness abound.
The fairy queen with entourage-
Comes with a rush, a marching charge,
To where, fantasies are found.
The beetle band begins to play-
The fairy's dance the night away,
Upon their magic mound.
The fairy rings the place to be-
If its, fairy's that you wish to see,
Within their own playground.
But! You must of course take this advice-
Do not venture at midnight,
Or you will become spellbound.
~~~ My Little Elf ~~~

I always spy my little elf
Underneath my chair,
Every time that I wake up
And run on down the stairs.

He smiles and gives a giggle,
Then he flitters and he flutters,
And sometimes, I have found,
His footprints in the butter.

I've told my mum about him
But she says it could not be,
'Cos, there's no such things as little elves
I must be still asleep you see.

I've seen him really seen him,
Nearly every single day,
And I know if I believe it,
He will never go away.

So I'll catch him and show mummy,
That elves are really true,
But, I don't know how to build a trap,
So I'll catch him in my shoe.

I will fill my shoe with honey
And stick it neath that chair,
Then that little elf should hop inside
And he'll get stuck in there.

Then I'll pick him up and wipe him
That's what I'm gunna do,
And I'll take him and show mummy
That elves are really true.

~~~ The Fairy and the Frog ~~~
I saw a little fairy
Tripping down our road,
She was being followed
By a great big hopping toad.
That poor fairy she was running,
To escape that nasty frog
So, she raced and then she hid herself,
Inside a hollow log.
That naughty Froggy sat there
Licking on his lips,
Then from out the other end,
I saw that fairy skip.
That fairy had a broken wing,
It was bent and twisted down,
That's why that little fairy
Wore a frightened frown.
Then, that greedy Froggy spied her
And started taking chase,
I knew that little fairy,
Could not keep up her pace.
So, I yelled to warn that fairy,
'Cos, I knew she couldn't see
And I couldn't let that hungry frog,
Eat that fairy up for tea.
So, I got a stick and hit that frog,
Right across his head
And sent that Froggy packing,
Straight home to his bed,
Then, I picked that little fairy up
And snuggled her up tight,
And told her that I loved her
And every-thing would be all right.
So, I took her home to mummsie,
Who set her broken wing,
Mummsie mended it with plaster
And little bits of string.
Now that little fairy's happy
As happy as could be,
And that naughty greedy Froggy,
Will never get her for his tea.
~~~ Kerry Cottage ~~~

There is a place that's in the wood
Where Kerry Cottage it once stood,
It was a place where fairies came
To show themselves unashamed.

But, then one day the Goblin King
Came to take that fairy ring.
The fairies came and stood to fight
Well into that moonlit night.

The fairy queen above the rest
Put all her fairies to the test,
To save that Cottage of Ker-ry
Because, it belonged to all fairies.

The battle lasted through the night
With Goblins, fairies left and right,
Then with broken hearts of ire
Kerry Cottage it caught fire.

The spells of all those fairies broke
The Goblins cried and fled with cloak.
Now Kerry Cottage is no more
The Goblins broke and burnt its door.

They also burnt the walls and ceilings
Putting pains on fairies feelings,
With broken glass and burning shutters
Kerry Cottage could only stutter.

Why, why am I, the point of feeling,
When with others you are dealing?
I am just a simple house
Who sits here quiet, as a mouse.

Until that Goblin King decides
That by his rules I must abide,
Or, that Fairy Queen she comes to stay,
I wish that they would go away.

That's why, Kerry Cottage now's in Wagin
To stop that King and Queen from stagin',
Their own vendetta and their test,
To see who is the very best.

So, all those folks in fairy-land
Should join together, hold a hand
And there should be a total stoppage,
Of naughty things at Kerry Cottage.

~~~ The Fairy Cottage ~~~
There is a little cottage that's in a shady glen,
Where fairies come to visit, time and time again.
They bring their fairy magic and leave their dust from play
To let you know that they will come, again another day.
There are little foot-prints on the floor, of where they danced around
And, if you listen very carefully, you still can hear their sound.
There are shadows of the moon-light left high among the eaves
And, there's moon-dust sparkling brightly, upon the autumn leaves.
Around the corner there's a face that looks so sad and blue,
She's waiting there for fairy time just like me and you.
Fairy time is magic time and it's full of so much fun,
So be careful please, don't make a noise, or the fairy's they may run.
Those fairies love their little cottage, that nestled in the trees,
Where they entertain the crickets, the glow-worms and the bees.
And if your very lucky and sit quietly and still,
The fairies they will dance with you until you've had your fill.
But, if you miss them when you visit, just wait until the night,
When the moon is on its fullest and shines it's brightest light.
And the moon-beams dance their magic upon that cottage there,
For, the fairies they'll be coming soon upon the warm nights air.
So come into the forest to that fairy cottage glen,
You will see those fairies, who come, time and time again.
You will see their magic and the dust they leave from play
And, you can be sure that they will come, every single day.
