~~~ Ghosts ~~~
Numbers added multiplied,
Chickens boiled and deep fried.
Dogs and cats fight in the night,
Ghostly figures scream with fright.
Shadows creeping in the hall,
Knuckles tapping on the wall.
Chains a rattling on the stairs,
Ghostly figures everywhere.
Hold you breathe, do not sneeze,
Become a block of moldy cheese.
Pull the blankets to you head,
Pretend that you are stone cold dead.
'Cos the ghosts will come one by one,
To frighten you just for the fun.
They'll tease you, trick you as they please,
And fill your hair with itching fleas.
All the ghosts will fill the air,
And who they scare they do not care.
They'll pinch your cheeks and pull your hair,
And take away your underwear.
And with the ghosts the witches come,
Goblins, vampires everyone.
Spiders, snakes and ravens too,
Will peck and scratch and bite on you.
Warlocks, zombies, headless men,
Will stain your clothes with blood filled pens.
They'll pull your gizzards all apart,
And suck the blood from out your heart.
So just be careful what you do,
When they come to visit you.
Just walk around with out a care,
And pretend that there is no one there.
~~~ The Witching Hour ~~~

The clock has struck the midnight hour,
The full moon's in the sky.
The witching hour has just begun,
Beware; tonight the witches fly.

The night owl screeches on the wind,
The night has just begun.
The witches come from out the west,
To cast spells on every one.

They're flying high up on their brooms,
They're flying very fast.
They have their cats upon their backs,
Full of spells to cast.

Feedle deedle, feedle dum,
Crickle crackly crie.
You'd better keep your latches locked,
Or inside your house they'll fly.

They'll fly around your living room,
Smashing pictures every where.
They'll pinch your nose and poke your eyes,
And pull the curls right out your hair.

They'll throw your pots and pans around,
And tip your milk out on the floor.
They'll even rip the hinges off,
Your kitchen cupboard doors.

They'll turn your house into a dump,
And brake, every window pain.
Then they'll grab you by the neck,
And shove you down the drain.

Their cats will shred your curtains,
And turn your clothes all inside out.
They'll make you brother stutter,
And give your dad the gout.

They'll give your mum an extra eye,
And your gran an extra knee.
Then turn your kitchen table,
Into an old oak tree.

So remember when the witches fly,
On the full moon in the night.
Keep all your windows locked and shut
And your door latches, bolted tight.

~~~ That Gypsy Caravan ~~~
Run, run, run as fast as you can
Here comes that gypsy caravan.
Those gypsy's have a magick spell,
And of your fortune they can tell.
They travel 'round from place to place,
And they never leave a single trace,
Of where they've been or going to,
But when they come they'll startle you.
They have black cats and horses too,
And lots of sweets, to temp you.
Just stay away and don't go near,
Or they'll pinch your cheeks and pinch your ears.
They have big pots for cooking bats
And cooking lizards and eye of gnat.
They make their spells in a big cald-ron,
They'll say to come and see it done.
The gypsy's come when it is night,
They steal children by moonlight.
So lock your windows and your door,
Lay bits of glass upon your floor.
'Cos if the gypsy's sneak inside,
They'll steal your children if they cry.
They'll put them in a big brown sack,
And you'll never get your children back.
They'll take them back to their cooking pot,
And chuck them in, the whole dam lot.
They'll boil them up and stir about,
'Till all their bones just fall right out.
Then they make them into gypsy pie,
And sell them to folks, as they walk by.
So! If you see that caravan,
Just run, run, run as fast as you can.
~~~ "I Vont Your Bluud" ~~~

"I vont your bluud", "I vont your bluud,"
Those screams they filled the night.
Then I saw him standing there,
My heart it stopped in fright.

He stood there in a cape of black,
His teeth they dripped with blood.
I turned to run and stumbled,
And fell into the mud.

He grabbed me by my long black hair
And bit me on the neck,
I felt his teeth break my skin
As he sucked my blood like heck.

I opened up my mouth to yell
But, I uttered not a sound.
He dragged me to his coffin
Buried in the ground.

I tried to fight and get away
As he pulled me to his plot,
But the more I fought, the more he sucked,
And the weaker I just got.

Then my skin began to pale,
My pulse began to slow,
My eyes turned black, I grew some wings,
My teeth began to grow.

Now at night I roam the streets,
And do what Vampires do.
"I vont your bluud", "I vont your bluud,"
'Cos I'm a Vampire too.

~~~ Witch's Brew ~~~
The clock it struck the midnight hour
Upon the village green.,
Not a soul, dared venture out,
There was no one to be seen.
The clouds crept slowly o'er the moon,
An owl let out its cry,
As witches came from out those clouds
And flew across the sky.
Then lightning flashed and thunder roared
The gates of heaven were shaking,
While the children lay awake in bed
All shivering and quaking.
A tap upon the window pain,
A knock upon the door,
The soot fell down the chim-in-ey
All black upon the floor.
The children ran and tried to hide,
But to no avail,
A witch she turned them into frogs,
And put them in her pail.
Those other witches gathered round,
And cackled two by two,
And all agreed how good they'll taste
Stewed in their witch's brew.
~~~ I Wonder What It Is? ~~~

A funny little furry face from out the daisy's peek,
Just a wiggle of its whiskers and not a word to speak.
I'd spied it from a distance, just looking back at me,
And I wondered and I wondered, what ever could it be?
Was it, my imagination, or was it fairy folk?
Or was it something mummy, had put there for a joke?
It moved again, or did it, or was it just the wind?
Or was it just a field mouse, or a snake that's shed its skin?
But, I hope it is a pixie, or at least a little elf,
Just like the one that sometimes, sleeps upon my shelf.
Or a fairy or a goblin or, is it something else instead,
Like those hairy scary monsters, that hide beneath my bed.
There are lots of scary monsters all hiding under there,
But, I really just ignore them; I stick my nose up in the air.
Mummy says I'm silly, 'cos monsters they're not true,
But, I've often seen one hiding, inside my daddy's shoe.
And I've seen them in the garden, sitting up in trees,
Poking out their slimey tongues at everyone they please.
Then, they cover you with gooey stuff, all slip-er-ee and green,
So, I hope it's not a monster in the daisies that I've seen.

~~~ Werewolves ~~~
When the full moon it rises high in the sky,
The witches and warlocks they all start to fly.
But, there is one lonely creature that creeps by and by,
When the full moon has risen up high in the sky.
The werewolf creeps stealthily over the moors,
Its howl, rattles the windows and rattles the doors.
It invites all the people to come and explore,
And investigate noises that comes from the moors.
They come with their lanterns to search in the dark,
For that noise from the moors that circle the park.
They take with them rifles and dogs that will bark,
To protect them form that, what is out in the dark.
They don't see that shadow that hides in the trees,
And they don't see that werewolf that jumps down to his knees.
And they don't see it stalking and moving with ease,
All that they hear is the movement and rustling of trees.
Then, a howl from that werewolf it pierces the air,
And they drop all their rifles, dogs run everywhere.
Its green eyes has froze them with hypnotic stare,
As a blood curdling howl, again pierces the air.
Fear grips those, that are searching the moors,
For that noise that had rattled the windows and doors.
Their lives they have changed, not the same anymore,
As they wait there for others, to come searching the moors.
When you lay in your bed with a full moon at night,
And, a howl pierces the air and fills you with fright.
Don't venture outside to see if things are all right,
'Cause, your life it may change forever that night.
