~~~ Flutters ~~~
I have this sorta' feeling,
It's kinda' like a flutter.
Every time I try to speak,
I get a little stutter.
The feelings rather silly,
The sort that no-one knows.
It kinda' sorta' wiggles,
From my head down to my toes.
It started on the day we met,
It just won't go away.
So I guess I'll have to keep it,
And put up with the pain.
The pain is not for real,
I knew that from the start.
It's just the flitter flutter,
That comes right from my heart.
~~~ Irish Stew ~~~

The poets say that love is blind,
That is what they say.
They have the most amazing words,
They explain love in many ways.

Like!

I send my heart upon the wings,
Of a snow-white turtledove.
The dove it carries my heart to you,
Full of happiness and love.

But!

I am just a simple man,
My words are simple too.
This really is a simple way,
To say that I love you.

Our hearts are full, they overflow,
With love for me and you.
Our love, it's like a recipe,
Of a spicy Irish stew.

Irish stew's a simple way,
To explain the love of me and you.
We'll get the biggest pot we can,
And this is what we'll do.

We'll mix it up and stir it a bit,
And simmer it with love.
With a pinch of hope and happiness,
From heaven up above.

We'll let it cook till it's just right,
To serve, upon our plate of life.
We'll spice it up with kisses,
And with giggles of delight.

We'll always hold each other's hand,
Then eat like kids at play.
The love we'll get, from our food of life,
Will get better every day.

~~~ Pumkin Peas and Rabbit Pie ~~~
Crickle crackle crockle crie,
Pumpkin, peas and rabbit pie.
Roasted duck and boiled yams,
Buttered toast with lots of jam.
This is how it could be,
If you wish to dine with me.
Lots of fun full of cheer,
Cups of tea and ice cold beer.
But! If you do not like that grub,
I could take you to the pub.
Or to a restaurant we could dine,
On fancy food and fancy wine.
Or on a picnic we could be,
At the mountains or the sea.
Playing games like hide and seek,
Or putting tootsies in a creek.
No matter what you want to do,
As long as I can be with you.
To be with you is my wish,
Because you are my yummy dish.
To be with you is lots of fun,
You are the icing on my bun.
You're my yummy, scrummy chocolate pie,
My love for you will never die.
~~~ Paper Bag ~~~

It's nice to see that beaming smile,
And the happiness in your face.
When you're walking next to me,
With all your style and grace.

Holding hands with you is great,
When we're out about the town.
Especial when you're dressed just right,
And looking like a clown

People they all stop and stare,
They make the same remark.
Who's the bloke, with that ugly bird?
I bet he's glad its dark.

And others say, quite out loud,
"Gee I think it would be grouse;
If we pay her, a couple of quid;
And get her to haunt a house."

When we go walking in the park.
It brings a tear to my eye.
To see the flower as we go past,
Curl up their petals and die.

And when I look at you, I feel,
Remorse and kinda' blue.
Every time you kiss me dear,
It makes me want to spew.

My words of course, they are not nice,
You put me through, a lot of pain.
So stick a paper bag over your head,
When we go out again.

It 'tis a joke these things I say,
And every word I say's untrue,
You is the cutest honey pot,
I am in love with you.

~~~ Me Bonzer Sheila ~~~
You are me bonzer sheila,
I reckon you're good'o.
That's not a brand of dog food,
Of that I think ya' know.
I'll give you the drum, of good oil,
Your name it makes me sigh.
I love ya' heaps and maybe more,
Than a beef and mushroom pie.
You are me little trimmer,
A flamin' little ripper too.
Me heart it beats like crazy,
Specially just for you.
If I said, ya' was me little bottler,
And ya' got the cutest loafa' bread.
And ya' are a real good lookin' sort,
Would it go right to ya' 'ead.
I'd walk across a paddock,
With joe blakes crawlin' everywhere.
Just to get to, the 'tother side,
'Cos I knowed that you'd be there.
When I get to that other side,
I would grab ya' by the 'and.
Look ya' straight right in the eye,
And say, "Lovin' you is grand".
Well ya' are me charlie wheela,
And ya' fill me old jam tart.
I'd love ta' be ya' flamin' 'orse,
And you can be me cart.
You're real beaut, I must admit,
You are the best I've ever seen.
You can dirty all me dishes,
And I'll always wash 'em clean.
Gee's, I guess I'm tryin' to tell ya',
That ya' are me 'arts desire.
I'd love ta' be ya' piece of wood,
'Cos ya' set me 'art a' fire.
Ya' could burn me up to ashes,
And put me right into ya' 'art.
To keep me there for ever more,
'Cos I would never wan'ta' part.
~~~ Gurkles ~~~

Howdy dowdy ya' little rudie,
I think ya' cute and cuddly.
Every time I think of you,
My mind goes sorta' muddly

My little nut, I call me head,
Spins 'round and 'round in circles.
'Cos every time ya' look at me,
I feel just like a gurkle.

A gurkle is a crazy thing,
That bounces up and down,
When it rides its bicycle,
Backwards into town.

Gurkles are always happy,
They smile and laugh a lot.
There're always doing silly things,
And they talk a lot of rot.

Gurkles go on picnics,
And have a lot of fun.
They do enjoy the strangest food,
And eat it on a bun.

Gurkles like to dance a bit,
And sing lots of silly songs.
They don't like wearing fancy shoes,
They just like wearing thongs.

The clothes they wear aren't real flash,
'Cos gurkle just don't care.
About the latest fashions,
And how long they grow their hair.

So I guess there is a little bit,
Of gurkles there in us.
There is nothing much we bother about,
'Cos we don't really make a fuss.

We go along our merry way,
And be as happy as we can.
'Cos if we act like gurkles,
Every-thing will go to plan.

May-be gurkles are the sane ones,
And all the others they are mad.
So I think, I'll be a gurkle,
'Cos I never would be sad.

So darling, will you be my gurkle,
I'll be a gurkle just for you.
And we always will have happiness,
No matter what we do.

~~~ Holiday Fun ~~~
Back to work you go today,
My heart is full of pain.
I can hardly wait my love,
Until, it's holiday time again.
I have had, so much fun,
The past two weeks with you.
Now I'm lost, I'm all alone,
I don't know what to do.
The mem-ories come flooding back,
Of all the things we've done.
Your birthday and that trip to town,
Gee whiz we had some fun.
The drives into the country,
The places that we've been.
Sitting by the river,
And all that beauty we have seen.
Holding hands and cuddling,
Sleeping in till late.
Time it didn't matter,
We left everything to fate.
And those very special snuggles,
And the games we played in bed.
The scrabble and the tarot cards,
And all the words of love we said.
But! You know what made it special,
And I bet you know it's true.
The fun I had would not be fun,
If I hadn't been with you.
Being with you darling,
Every single day.
Fills my heart with happiness,
And fills my soul in every way.
~~~ How I Feel ~~~

No matter what I seem to do,
And no matter what I say.
It never changes how I feel,
About you every day.

The feelings that I have for you,
The ones deep inside my heart.
Are feelings of excitement,
'Cos I loved you from the start.

Every time I look at you,
My heart it skips a beat.
And I get this funny feeling,
That goes right down to my feet.

And each time I touch your hand,
A feeling starts to grow.
It tingles in my fingers,
Right down to my toes.

But, cuddling you it is the best,
The best'est don't you see.
Especially when we cuddle up,
As close, as close could be

And what about the other stuff,
That comes so naturally.
It satisfies the both of us,
Of that you will agree.

I feel like I'm just a lad,
A lad of twenty-two.
And my life has just begun,
Just begun with you.

The joy and all the happiness,
And the love we have to share.
Makes us feel so complete,
To know each others there.

~~~ Did We Fly Away ~~~
When I kiss your tender lips,
My heart begins to fly.
And I feel like I have grown wings,
Floating high up in the sky.
And as I fly there, way up high,
I'd see there's beauty all around.
Then, I'd see you standing calling me,
So I'd float gently back to ground.
I'd put my arms around you,
And this is what I'd say.
"Come with me my beauty,
Come on lets fly away."
We'd both fly up, into the clouds,
As if we didn't have a care.
We'd fly across the oceans,
With wind blowing in our hair.
We'd visit all those mystic lands,
The place that time forgot.
We'd visit with King Arthur,
In his castle at Camelot.
We'd sit at his round table,
With the knights that guard his crown.
I'd wear a suit of armour,
And you a flowing gown.
We'd hear stories of their valour,
And of the dragons they did slay.
And the maidens they had rescued,
And how they made the villains pay.
King Arthur then would ask us,
If we would care to stay.
To live with him in Camelot,
For, forever and a day,
You would curtsy and I would bow,
And, with regret we'd say.
Thank you kind Sir, we'd love to,
But we must be on our way,
'Cos there is so many places,
That we have never been.
And all the beauty waiting there,
That we have never seen.
We'd climb upon the tower,
And wave good-bye to Camelot,
Then, I'd hold you by the hand and fly,
From the land that time forgot,
Maybe this was just a dream,
Or did we really go.
But, unless we both believe in love,
I guess we'll never know.
~~~ We'll Fly ~~~

Our adventures they have just begun.
Together you and me,
We'll fly up high among the stars,
And all the world we'll see.

We'll go and visit the evening star,
That one that glows so bright.
The one that people wish upon,
Each and every night.

We'll fly up to the Milky Way,
And meet the fairies that live there,
They'll teach us how to laugh and sing,
And to dance without a care.

We'll fly around the planets,
And do what ever we may please.
We'll go and have a look to see,
If the moon is made of cheese.

We'll even go to Saturn,
It's seven moons we'll see.
Then we'll go to Pluto,
To see if he has fleas.

Then to Mars we'll have to go,
To visit those green men.
We'll take along some cream cake,
And have a cup of tea with them.

There is so many places,
That we could both explore.
We'd never have to come back here,
We'd stay there forever more.

But, I guess I'm only dreaming,
It would be nice to be that free.
But I had better get back to,
What we call, reality.
