~~~ True Love ~~~
Love it come to us all,
This is what they say,
Some of us we search for love,
Until our dying day.
We hold our breath,
And close our eyes in dream,
We never seem to find true love,
Or this is what it seems.
True love to some is just two word,
Or so we have been told,
That true love only come to few,
Because it's difficult to hold.
It's difficult to hold they say,
Maybe this is true,
My heart it never knew true love,
Until I looked at you.
When I looked at you my love,
My heart it skipped a beat,
My head was light my breath was short,
I was unsteady on my feet.
My palms were wet my body shook,
I was sure that I would cry,
I had to stop to calm myself,
And wipe the tears from my eyes.
As I looked deep into your eyes,
I could see the magic waiting there,
My heart it raced my head did spin,
It was more than I could bear.
Then for just a moment,
I knew not what do,
If our meeting was just a dream,
Or is it was really true.
But! When I held your tiny hand,
And our fingers did entwine,
I felt the warmth within your heart,
I knew that you were mine.
As I kissed your tender lips,
Your eyes began to beam,
I knew my love that this was real,
It wasn't just a dream.
That my love, was a while ago,
But it seems like yesterday,
Our love is true our love is real,
Our love will never fade away.
It's not true in what they say,
That true love is hard to find,
Just look deep within our hearts,
And let us not be blind.
We have journeyed far from yesterday,
Many bridges we have crossed,
There are more that lay ahead,
But let our visions not be lost.
Our hearts and souls they are as one,
That's how they, will always be,
There is no one upon this earth,
Who can take my love from thee.
My love for you it is real,
It's real and so it's true,
The love I have within my heart,
Always belongs to you.
You need not fear my darling,
My love will never stray,
It's you I love, I always will,
Until my dying day.
~~~ Gift of Love ~~~

Tho art' the gift of Love,
Thee came in to my heart.
When I, and my life,
They were bound to part.

My soul it had began to go,
I was upon my final flight.
The life I knew was fading so,
Within the stillness of this night.

The winds if death began to blow.
It blew at my hearts door.
When the light I knew did ceased to glow,
I would be for-never more.

Life had dealt a bitter blow,
I'd become a lonely man.
I had nought, nowhere to go,
Not a thing had gone to plan.

I had looked, deep within my heart,
But nowhere could I find.
The dreams I had, right from the start,
The dreams I'd left behind.

When a man has lost all love,
He seems to close his eyes.
To all the things of beauty,
They are hard to recognise

I'd givin' up; I'd ceased to care,
Of the people all around.
But you my love, you were there,
Just waiting to be found.

The beauty of you're words my dear,
The sound of your sweet voice.
They were the things I had to hear,
My heart it did rejoice.

My heart it pushed those winds away,
It fought to shut them out.
It kept the thoughts of death at bay,
In joy my heart did shout.

Take me to your heart my love,
Then let my soul be free.
And let me be your own true love.
For all eternity.

~~~ Advice ~~~
Don't you think it would be nice,
If we were to take our own advice.
We're always acting 'o' so smart,
Telling, when to stop and when to start.
It's very easy for us to say,
"Listen to me, or rue the day.
Rue the day; don't take a chance,
'Cos, I'm a real smarty-pants."
If I knew, what you should do,
Don't you think I'd do it too.
If we'd listen, to our own advice,
Then everything might turn out nice.
But we don't, and that is sad,
'Cos, all it does is make us mad,
We get angry, and want to fight,
It means that we're not very bright.
The only advice, that we should give,
Is how to love and how to give.
And how to help and how to share,
Maybe then, we all would care.
~~~ Looking For Love ~~~

I looked for love both far and wide,
But at last, I could not abide,
To be without the one I knew,
That could give to me a love so true.

That love was it evading me?
Or was I blind or could I not see?
You're wanting love that you did beam,
To me within my troubled dreams.

A love so true I knew was right,
That love that robbed my sleep at night.
I could not sleep because of you,
I knew then my love what I must do.

I'll come to you we'll be as one,
Our new life has just begun,
A life of love for you and I.
I'll love you darling till I die.

~~~ Fleeting Dreams ~~~
It's funny how it always seems,
We waste our life on fleeting dreams.
Fleeting dreams that come and go,
No matter how old, we do grow.
We dream about that perfect day,
When someone will come, to you and say.
I love you dear for all your worth,
You are the sweetest thing on earth.
I love you more than I can say,
I cannot wait until that day.
When you give your love to me,
I'll then worship you for, eternity.
You say to me, what could that be,
That will keep me true, till eternity.
To keep me true is not hard to do,
Because I love and worship you.
Your heart will smile, never sad,
I'll make you happy, always glad.
I gave to you my heart and soul,
'Cos my love for you I can't control.
But the saddest thing that I do know,
Is if you let your dreams just go,
And never look into your heart.
To see that I'm you're other part.
I'm the other part that makes you grow,
Listen to your heart it tells you so.
To take my love into your heart,
Then we'll be as one and never part.
~~~ My Queen ~~~

My darling I just had to write,
Another verse to you.
To tell to you, my dearest love,
Of my feelings, that are true.

So each time that you're not here,
And I'm feeling sad and blue.
I think of all the things I've done,
And then I think of you.

I've travelled almost every where,
Across this mighty land.
I've travelled to, and seen the sights,
Of everything that's grand.

Of all the places I have been,
And the sights that I have seen.
Could not compete, or even dull,
The beauty of my queen.

You are my queen, I do adore,
I come on bended knees.
To kneel before the one I love,
It's you my heart must please.

I compared you with the mountains,
The shining seas, the desert sands.
With the sunrise and the sunset,
Across this wondrous land.

But! The loveliness of you my dear,
Puts them all to shame.
And beautiness of your sweet face,
Makes everything look plain.

~~~ Our Mornings ~~~
My head is overflowing,
With things I need to say.
Of the way I feel my darling,
About you every day.
When I awake each morning,
I hold you in my arms.
The warmth, the love, the comfort,
I'm enraptured by your charms.
When I kiss your tender lips,
The first time of each day.
My heart it jumps and skips a beat,
It races right away.
I tell you that I love you,
You say the same to me.
I really get excited,
By the way you look at me.
We arise and have our brecky.
Sitting, holding hands.
We drink the milk right from the bowl,
Life with you is really grand.
I would never trade my time with you,
That I have every day.
I love you more than life itself,
Please never go away.
~~~ Words ~~~

In times when verse and poetry,
Was written in days of old.
Their words were words of beauty,
As their stories did unfold.

The words had special meanings,
The words that they did use.
The special meaning they did have,
Today we seem to loose.

Words like Thee, Thy and Thou,
Have they gone forever more.
Will we only find those words?
In the books in old bookstores.

Words like Love will always stay,
To those who still have heart.
And want to keep love in their souls,
To never to let it part.

~~~ Thoughts of You ~~~
I was sitting at my puter,
With nothing else to do.
When this though came to my mind,
And that very thought was you.
I though of all the beautiful things,
That you do for me my sweet.
Those kisses that you give to me,
Just knock me off my feet.
The way you laugh, it tickles me,
To see that smile light up your face.
The way you walk and wiggle,
With an air of style and grace.
So!
You had better not forget about,
This heart that pines for you.
And my love you'd better not,
Forget my love is true.
'Cos I'll tell you what I'm gunna' do,
As soon as you get home.
I'm gunna' grab you in my arms,
And never let you roam.
~~~ This is What I See ~~~

I am looking at your photograph,
And it's very plain to see.
How easy it was my love,
To fall in love with thee.

I look into your sparkling eyes,
And this is what I see.
Two pools of life a shimmering,
Looking back at me.

I look at your, sweet tender lips.
And this is what I see,
The tiny trembling as they move.
To speak your love of me.

I look upon your smiling face,
And this is what I see.
A smile that comes, from your heart,
That tells your love for me.

I look at your soft shinning hair,
And this is what I see.
Strands of gold from heaven,
Beckoning to me.

I look at you with heart and soul,
And this is what I see.
A heart and soul so full of love,
Looking back of me.

If your eyes would look into my eyes,
This is what they'd see.
A heart that's full of tender love,
Looking back at thee.

And if you looked, into my heart and soul,
This is what you'd see.
A heart and soul that loves just you.
For all eternity.
