~~~ The Wind and The Dove ~~~
Sweet is the prey that is high on the wind,
Sweeter than time has forgot.
Who is it that, comes with the wind,
Is it not you is it not?
It is I said the dove who is high on the wind,
It is I said the dove it is I.
Is it you said the wind that I toss all about,
It is you said the wind that is high?
Why do you come when you not wanted here,
Time my sweet dove time to fly.
There are dangers up here my dove said the wind,
There are dangers up high in the sky.
So! Fly you must fly said the wind to the dove,
It is you that is prey while you are here.
You must fly away quickly my dove you must fly,
For, it is you that is prey that I fear.
Fear not! Said the dove to the wind as it blew,
Fear not, for I am wanted here.
I've travelled so far to find my sweet love,
And it is her that is prey that I fear.
I've come for my love that's fallen from high,
If she has, fallen all broken and spent.
I've come to be with her in time of her need,
Till the last of her spirit is sent.
Then, come with my blessings the wind told the dove,
My blessings are all I can give.
I cannot protect you, from what flies above,
It is you that must fly, so to live.
High from the sky the eagle swoops downs
To grasp that sweet prey from the sky.
And the dove it dripped blood on it mate far below,
As his spirit it started to die.
The wind it blew stronger than ever before,
Till the eagle lost hold of its prey.
Then, the wind took that dove gently down to the ground,
To where that doves mate, she did lay.
They lay there together united again,
Together at last in their death.
Then the wind it blew past, back to the sky,
As that dove drew, the last of his breath.
~~~ Windows ~~~

Your eyes they are the windows, the windows to your soul,
No matter if they're green or blue, or they are as black as coal.
They are the only pathway, the only pathway known to man,
They lead you to your destiny no matter what your plan.

Some people close their windows; they pull their shutters down,
To hide the way they feel inside, behind a half worn frown.
They hide behind their fears, that came from days gone by,
Days when they had, lost all their hope, and their eyes could only cry.

We need to keep our windows free, free from dust and grime,
We need to keep them open every second of our time.
Our eyes should lead us forward; they should never lead us back,
They should never take us to the past, but keep us on our track.

That track we take is destiny that leads us to our fate,
So open up your windows before it is too late.
They are our pathways taken, into our very soul
To take us to our destiny, to our life long goal.
